About Me

I am a CoA-registered architect with over a decade of experience in residential architecture, restoration, and interior design.

My practice is centred on contextual planning and sustainable design, guided by principles of reduce, reuse, recycle, and upcycle. A deep, lifelong connection to the natural world informs my approach, allowing land, climate, and material to lead planning decisions and spatial outcomes.

Travel, history, culture, and traditional building practices form the base of my design thinking, shaping spaces that are grounded, resource-conscious, and responsive to site, material, craft, and everyday living.

I hold a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Periyar Maniammai University (ex-affiliated with Anna University), Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, completed in 2011. Alongside practice, I write under One Life, Discover It, reflecting on travel, architecture, and lived spaces.

Design philosophy

What guides the work I do

Contextual Planning

Land, climate, and material lead planning decisions. Each site has its own logic — the work finds it, rather than imposing form upon it.

Sustainable Thinking

Reduce, reuse, recycle, upcycle — woven into how materials are sourced, detailed, and lived with over time.

Rooted in Craft

Regional materials, local crafts, and cultural memory are drawn upon to create spaces that feel genuinely grounded in place.
